A team of highly dedicated and committed health professionals with vast experience in the field of Pharmacy education conceived the idea of establishment of a Pharmacy institute in Pakistan. The concept is to provide quality education at par with international standards in the field of Pharmacy and ensuring that the graduates of this institute must have the mindset of true humane professionals.

The concept was transformed in to reality by laying the foundation stone of Yusra Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences in August 2014. By the grace of Allah Almighty and sheer hard work with focused approach as well as administrative excellence the college passed through all the processes of its completion within a short span of only six months.

The institute has been given NOC by PCP and Government of Pakistan for training of 60 students for each academic session. YIPS is also included in the International directory of Pharmacy Colleges. The institute is affiliated with the University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore.
